Wyndham Hotels near Universal - which one?

I am going in July with my adult children for a split stay between WDW and Universal. We are staying on-site at Disney and currently booked at Cabana Bay for Universal. I'm toying with the idea of changing to a Wyndham hotel to save money. We may get a rental or just use UBER depending on how the hotel situation pans out. We won't be doing Epic and don't really care about early entry at Universal.
Which Wyndham would you recommend we book or avoid and why? Also, do you think it would be feasible to just Uber to Universal and not get a rental?
Any advice would be welcome.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek is hands down the best! Even though it is a bit of drive to Universal it is worth it in my opinion. I would look and see if you can find any availability on Redweek. Once we stayed at Bonnet Creek we never went back to a Disney resort.
