Wyndham Cypress Palms--surrounding area?

We are booked at Wyndham Cypress Palms, and looking at the map I realize it's in a location I'm not very familiar with. Is this a safe area? How long would it take to get to Downtown Disney? Crossroads?

I've stayed here many times, and will again in November. I consider it a very safe area. You are within walking distance of many nice restaurants, also Krispy Kreme and CVS. Takes about 15-20 minutes to get to DTD. Go straight at the light when leaving and turn right on 535. It will be a straight shot from there to Crossroads.
It's a lovely resort, I think you'll like it.

We have stayed there several times and once I stayed alone with my kids. The area is as safe as any other tourist area. There is a chilis and another resturant with in walking distance along with the CVS and Krispy Kream.

I agree that DTD is about 15 minutes door to door and cross roads a little less.
