HI,

Aologies I know this has been covered before but can anyone link me to best places for prices for this place and any recent reviews or info on this thanks in advance

Thanks guys, that thread has all the answers all the questions and I have e-mailed vacation upgrades.

So is 60 days out always the best prices?

With Ken & Denise the 60 day price is the lowest they do but they can only do that price if there is availability. The 60 day price is the same cost as Low season.
For example the one we booked:
2 bed deluxe 6 nts
Low season $775
High $1165
Prime $1405

We went in high season(August) but instead of paying $1165 I waited until 60 days out and booked at $775

Cool, I am looking for 19 nughts october/november, which looking at website is low season?

We have stayed 8 times and always booked with Ken and Denise at www.vacationupgrades.com. Ken and Denise are excellent to deal with. Just trying to sort out holiday for July/August and will have another 3 weeks, cant wait.
We absolutely love the resort and really wouldn't stay anywhere else in Orlando. Let me know if you have any question.

Thanks for the offer of questions with the combination of the thread and ken answering all my questions I have had everything answered so far.

We did originally book port orleans all included around £4400. This has come out at 1600, plus car hire and tickets, £3000 and we have got a two bed apartment rather than a room. With a 4 and two year old for 19 nights w
e have relised that apartment with a balcony is a must and although we now dont have food I prefer the restuarants outside disney anyway.

The only negative is the driving as I drive for living and wanted time off but its short distances and i dont mind driving in america.

Couple of questions, I am pretty clued up on restuarants in orlando but any locally you could recommend or on site? How have you got on with getting room requests on arrival, we wont be arriving to 8pm?

We have arrived at all different times and always got a room in either main building or tower 4 ( which is our favourite). We always request a floor between 2 and 6 and not had any issues. A lot of people like to stay high up to see fireworks but I have had it drilled into me by my company never to stay higher than a firemans ladder can reach!!!
They have a few places for food onsite. We really like the food at tower 4 pool but it's really only thinkgs like chicken burgers ( which are delicious).
It's a really short drive to two of our favourite places Longhornes and Carrabbas. We also love Toojays and Cheesecake Factory but they are a bit further. We have been so many times that we don't spend as long in the park and love going for a nice meal so don't mind the drive. There is a back way you can drive to avoid Crossroads.
It's a great location and everything is close by really, especially if you are going to the Disney parks. Takes 4 minutes to get home from Hollywood Studios for example.
You'll have a great time I'm sure.

One of our favourites at the minute is the Ale House, Sweet Tomatoes at the Crossroads is also good if you fancy a salad.
