Thinking about mixing up our next trip to Disney with a few nights at an off site hotel, maybe three. Do three nights off site, three on site with our DVC. I am wanting a water park hotel. I was looking at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Bonnet Creek. Any advise on how to get the best deals there?

I have same questions. Resorts other than disney resorts are foreign to me and need all the help I can get. Im thinking of half disney/half universal resorts but also would like to see my options at an offsite resort that offers transportation to both.

Right now, the cheapest I see is Under Cover Tourist.

I've never actually stayed there, but I've gotten 2 good quotes from Vacation Strategy. We will probably stay this fall.

To clarify - are you talking about Wyndham Bonnet Creek RESORT OR Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek HOTEL?

The Grand .

Orbitz has had some good offers plus the 10% off. But of course you have to add the resort fee and parking fee.

Overall if your main interest is the amenities then also price out a WBC Resort Villa.

Can you even use the promo codes with Orbitz at this resort? Doing a mock reservation for a party of four at the hotel side, for next month, Undercover Tourist has the best price I can find.

Each third party will have different offers for different times of year. I've used UT but never for hotels. I would trust them though.

If your main concern is the pool amenities and lazy river, also glance at Hilton Bonnet Creek.

Wyndnam's pools look bigger and better to me though.

If you’re staying at the Grand, you also have access to all the WBC pools and lazy rivers. Great options.

This thread is confusing to me. Here's my understanding.

Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek (hotel) and Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort (timeshare) have access to the same pools and lazy rivers. For the hotel check the usual sites (orbitz, expedia, etc) and remember to add in the parking and resort fees. For the timeshare, try a vacation strategies, trip bound, or other similar companies.

The Hilton Bonnet Creek is a separate hotel and does not have access to the same pools and lazy rivers, though I believe they have their own. HTH

Ok, thank you. Very informative!!!

Oops...realized you want the hotel. I would not even consider that. If I am staying offsite, it is going to be in a condo with a kitchen. The grills are great to use around the property and not sure I could manage that in a studio hotel room.

Its ok, I have been confused as well on this. Am I right saying if you stay in the timeshare part, there is no parking or other fees?

Still can't use a coupon at this resort on Orbitz. That is a no go.

That is all correct.

The Hilton Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Bonnet Creek are "sister resorts" across the road from Wyndhams. They are joined by a convention space. They have their own pools but you may use either or. I suggested checking into it because Hilton has a very nice pool area, more of a legit lazy river and is more upscale atmosphere.

Timeshare Villas = no parking fee, no resort fee but you do have to pay to ride the bus to the parks
Hotel Rooms = resort fee, parking fee, but a free private bus system to the parks

AND just an FYI: WBC Grand does have family style rooms with bunk beds
