We stayed at WBC last year in Feb/March. We booked within the 60 days, got a good deal, it was great. No problem. This year we are going 3rd week of Aug. intending to do the same thing...until it occured to me:scared1: Summer is busier then spring!! Will there be rooms available!?!

WBC experts what should I do....rent now or wait until the 60 days and save $400?

I'm not an expert, but I booked with an owner 7 months ago for my trip in May. I got a Great rate on a 3 bedroom and the owner is awesome to deal with!

I just booked for our fourth week of Aug/Sept trip a few days ago for Bonnet Creek. We'll be there through Labor Day weekend and didn't want to chance it. I know that it's not as busy as the end of June and July but still busy and we are renting one two-bednroom unit and another three-bedroom unit so wanted to make sure there's availability. I know that Disney enters value season starting 8/25 but at Bonnet Creek it's still counted as high value season. Hope this helps.

Thanks, that does help!

Where can I find such pricing season info for Bonnet Creek?

We were considering the same issues. Whether to book now or wait and perhaps save some extra money. We chose to book now, mostly because the rate was good compared to what I was seeing in general, and I figured we wouldn't save significantly, and more importantly, we need two units, and I was afraid we wouldn't be able to find two units last minute for the same exact dates. So for peace of mind, we went ahead and booked. We figured by waiting we likely would have saved maybe $15 a night over what we paid now. So we just went with it. It's still so much cheaper than so many other options, the peace of mind was just worth it for us.

If DH and I ever go back again by ourselves and we only need one unit, I might consider waiting. It doesn't seem unlikely we'd come across something last minute. Any kind of unit would work for us by ourselves whether one, two or three bedroom. So it's probably a safe risk. But with needing two units we felt less sure so now we are all booked and I'm doing the happy dance! :cool1:
