Has anyone stayed here? I did run across an older thread that had some photos, reviews, and comments....but just wondered if anyone has stayed here recently? If so, what did you think of it? Any recent photos you could share would be very much appreciated.

There is a thread on Bonnet Creek on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board.

Here is a link that I hope I am posting correctly

Anyway, we stayed there in August for 10 days and really loved it. We usually get 2 rooms at POP and thought it was time for a change. I don't think we will ever go back to staying onsite. There was plenty of room for our family of 7. We rented through Ken Price with vacationupgrades.com. He was great to work with. I made two requests and got them both. We felt like we were staying on property and when we turned on our TV there was Stacey with her Disney Top 7. We did not request fireworks view, but instead opted for pool view. We could see the Mouse Ears water tower and the top of the blue hat from DHS. We could also see POP. WE LOVED IT!:goodvibes

We stayed here when I ran in the 1/2 marathon in 2005. It was fabulous. The furniture was leather, the counters were granite and the kitchen was fully equiped. There was a full dining table that seated 6. We slept 5 in a king suite. THere was a washer and dryer and 2 bathrooms. We were very close to the pool. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. We were on Disneyworld but could enjoy a bit of peace and quiet after busy days. Loved it and it was very economical. We got it off of TUG2.com in the classified ads.

I really liked both of my stays here as well! I've only stayed in a 2BR suite, and it was really nice. I liked having a common room to relax in, as well as a refrigerator, free internet, and some nice views if you're on the right side of the buildings.

When it is just my husband and I, I do prefer to stay onsite, but for more than that, it really is pretty ideal as far as price, quality, and location is concerned.

We are owners at Bonnet Creek and have stayed there many times. We've been in every size unit and in several different buildings. Each trip has been great and it has been fun to see all the changes as the resort has been built (it still isn't completely done yet).

There are many activities to choose from if you choose to stay at the resort. The proximity to the parks is great, too. The units are spacious and comfortable and I have never had a problem in any of them.

Do you have to rent from an owner? Is there any risk doing it that way? We will have 5 this year and are looking for a kitchen and washer/dryer. I know we will have to go offsite to get those in our price range. Bonnet Creek is so close to onsite it would be a good option! Thanks!

We own with Wyndham and have stayed at Bonnet Creek many times. We love it. It is very nice and there is a lot to do for days you don't go to Disney. (DH always likes to have a day or two away from WDW)

Here are a some picts from our stay in October...

Excellent pictures, MsCoz! We stayed in one of the "older" buildings (older being a few years old) and it looks just about the same. We love BC...obviously. :rotfl:

:worship: MsCoz! Your pics are awesome! I love that you took pictures of the kitchen stuff too! :lovestruc

For everyone that has stayed at Bonnet Creek, did you rent your own car?

Using WDW transportation is one of the things I love about staying onsite. I am the "navigator"...I am horrible at reading maps and just stink at it :headache:. To me, renting a car means stress and shouting! lol I LOVE the buses b/c then we can all talk about what we are going to do 1st and goof off together.

I do not want to navigate the world! :scared:

Besides, it is soooo easy to tell your group. We are going to XYZ, meet you there! If you are sharing a ride, that ain't gonna happen...

Thank you! I have a bunch more, but for some reason having a hard time loading them into photobucket right now.

I ALWAYS have a rental car, even when staying onsite. It's not too bad, there are Disney signs to get you everywhere. Getting back to Bonnet Creek the first time was a little tricky because there aren't signs for it, but we figured out that it is right next to Caribbean Beach so we would look for that sign and find our way.

We are planning on staying here in Dec. because there are five of us and we really need the room. I think my DH will LOVE this place. I have already contacted Ken Price and he quoted me 120.00 a night. You can't beat that!

Thanks for posting the pictures :thumbsup2 Even though we love staying onsite we will definately be planning to stay here for our next trip. Now that the kids are 13(girl) - 15( boy) we just need more room and the 2 bedroom looks great with lots of extra space and mom and dad can get some privacy with our own room:thumbsup2 Gotta Love that.

Ok everyone, here are some more pictures.... (just to explain... I take soooo many pictures when we stay places for this exact reason. So many times I look into where to stay and I can't find pictures of what the place looks like and then am disappointed when we do stay there. So I do this to try and help people make the right decision!)

Enjoy!

Great pics - do you mind if I add them to the official thread?

HannaBelle, don't be scared of navigating Disney. It's really not that bad. The signs are great, and if you still get confused there are some really simple maps out there. IMO, if you are staying at BC, you need to have a car.
