Wyndham Bonnet Creek or Hilton Grand?

We have enough Hilton points for a couple of nights at a Hilton Grand (either the Sea World or I-Drive location) so both BC and HG would be about the same total price for a week. We're a family of 4 with kids ages 6 and 9 and we're splitting our time between WDW and the Sea World area parks. Which resort would you recommend?

Pretty much a toss up in term of driving time as one is very close to SeaWorld (walkable across Central Florida Parkway and the SeaWorld parking lot) and one is very close to the Disney parks - and the HGVC is roughly between the two theme park areas. And all three are convenient to any of those theme parks

HGVCs are generally both larger and more upscale than Wyndham timeshare resort villas so based on creature comfort alone I'd choose Hilton. However, I think they're both good choices.

FWIW, I'd note that there's a third HGVC (and the newest Orlando Hilton timeshare) - Parc Soleil - that's on Palm Parkway just north of the Downtown Disney/Lake Buena Vista area and also convenient to both Disney and SeaWorld.

TUG2.net, is a timeshare users group on the internet that is often mentioned on this site. You have to be a member to see ratings of timeshares. The ratings and reviews here IMHO have typically been pretty reliable and have been submitted by people who stay in various timeshare resorts frequently and are good at comparing them.

Both of the resorts you are considering highly rated on this site and have about the same number of reviews that have been submitted. Wyndam Bonnet Creek is rated 8.29 out of 10 and 29th in the rankings of 104 timeshares in the Orlando area. It's really close to downtown Disney. The Hilton Grand Vacation Clubs at SeaWorld is rated 8.67 (about a 1/2 a point higher) and #19 out of the ranking of 104 timeshares in the Orlando area. You could walk to SeaWorld from there is you wanted (probably a 15-20 minute walk because or the size of the SeaWorld parking lot).

There are so many great places in Orlando, so I like to switch in up a bit. I like to go to new ones and hit ones I haven't visited in a while and that's how I usually pick. Sounds like you haven't been to either though. I personally don't think you would go wrong with either one. It's pretty each to get around in Orlando and get to the parks from either one.

If you book at HGVClub at Seaworld you can get free shuttle to Seaworld. Also, since it is a an official Seaworld hotel, you can get quick queue passes for free if you stay there.
