Our trip was from Apr30th - May12th. Took us a while to get to our resort due to bumper to bumper traffic and us not really knowing our way around, trying to find a grocery store, and grabing a bite to eat. We landed at 5:00pm and didn't get to the resort till 8:30, we were tired.

Check in was a breeze at 8:30pm, no line-up at all. I made no requests, we were put in Tower 2 , the room was not refurbished and part of the carpet in the master bedroom leading to the bathroom area was frayed and coming out of the seam, so to speak. Then we couldn't get the air to work, it was hot in there. The dishwasher door wouldn't close, we thought it was broken. We got a "neighbour" to check the air and dishwasher in case we were doing something wrong, couldn't get the air on either (tried turning it to manual etc) or get the door to close on the dishwasher. We tried calling the front desk, nobody answered, I drove to get an answer. They apologized and immediately assigned us a new room. I get back to the room, and my husband says "The air just kicked in!" So I called down and apologized for our impatience, I was too tired to try to drag our stuff to another room, I had already 1/2 unpacked, so we just stayed in the room.

The first day we went to Seaworld and it was a huge mistake. I was really missing "Disney" and wishing we had of stayed on site. I think if we had gone to MK I may have not felt that way. When we got back to our room, we tried to call our parents from our room, but we couldn't. Dial 9, thenthe number, it wouldn't allow us. We couldn't even order pizza. We tried calling the front desk and got no where. So we sucked it up and used our cell phone, ouch . We are from Canada, so it was expensive! The next day we continued to bother the front desk till they finally agreed to send someone over. The technician said they needed to re- register us into the phone system. He said it should be done by the next morning. Was it done, nope. So when we got back that day, I called the from desk and complained again. I told them what the tech said and that I couldn't order pizza. He offered to connect me to the pizza place and I said no I'd like the phone fixed,we wanted to call our family. Five minutes later it was fixed. Ahhhhh. Things just went uphill from there. :)

So a few bumps in the road, some our fault, some their fault, but once we got in the swing of things we really liked it there. The dishwasher we also figured out, but that wasn't too much of an issue, we don't mind handwashing a few dishes, we had breakfast almost every day, but just simple things like toast, cereal, we ordered pizza one night and we had sandwiches one night. We didn't care weather the room was refurbished or not, and we the carpet didn't bother us, and the best part was I didn't trip over it (I tend to be clumsy :) )

We loved the location, the kids loved the activities, having a 2 bedroom for 12 nights for $100 /night from Ken just can't be beat. We may stay on site again , not sure, but now that we know our way around, and the ins and outs of the resort, we would definately stay there again!!

Oh and we got no pizza flyers under our door, we didn't find the resort too big to walk anywhere, and we only got 1 phonecall which my daughter answrd before I could stop her, from the timeshare people, but I nicely told the lady no, and that was that.

Thanks for sharing.. we will be there in two weeks. I've stayed before but there was only half the towers 2.5 years ago.. I can't wait to see how much it's grown.

It's nice to hear a review from someone who was there recently. Thanks! We'll be at BC in 6 days. Yay! Post some pics if you have em!

We were there almost the same dates but we stayed till the 14th. Our phone in the kitchen didnt work but the one in the bedroom did. We were in tower 3 and had a lake/somewhat fireworks view. The fireworks were partially obstructed by another building and trees.but we watched them often anyway. We walked to the splash pad pool and pirate pool often. I think i would have like to be in building 5 for better convience but 3 was cool, it was a little outdate however. Service was fine called for laundry detergent a few times, sent up shortly after.

We too were recently at BC and had nothing less than a great time. We were in Tower 6 and loved that you can check-in there, they have an activities desk, etc. right there in the building. This was especially awesome for having to sign out towels, which was the one thing I was dreading this trip. But, it worked out great being in Tower 6. We'd grab towels on our way out and give them back on our way in--perfect!

We also didn't have any pizza flyers under our door, but I assumed it was because Tower 6 has someone in the lobby most all of the time and they would stop the pizza flyer people. But since the OP didn't have them either in Tower 3, maybe they finally got rid of them for good! They were especially bad when we were in Tower 2 because they would get dropped of on the roadway and walk into BC through the parking lot right by our building.

Any one have any tips/strategies on how to get a Presidential Suite in Tower 6? I'm looking for a 2 bedroom. Thanks.

We were there too last week and loved it. We took only got 1 timeshare call at 7AM and declined and they were respectful enough to not call back. we were in Tower 5 and loved it. Our "house" as our girls called it was really clean and everything worked well. It took us a few hours to figure out the bath tub jets in the master bathroom but that was it. We already ahve anothher stay booked in August. We too had the same problem with our phone the first few days.

There isn't really any trick to it. All you need to do is reserve a presidential suite. All 1, 2, and 3 bedroom Presidentials are located in Tower 6. The 4 Bedroom Presidentials are spread out in all the towers.

We were there May 7-14 (sat to sat). We got zero pizza flyers and they called us daily to invite us to a presentation, which we were not in the room, so we missed the calls. On Tues, my DH answered the call and told them NO, we didn't do it because we chose not to. He repeated that line again, they called us Wed, and left a message and that was it no more calls after that.

LOVE this resort! Can't wait to go back!
