Wyndam Bonnet Creek... best/closest grocery store?

Any input on your favorite grocery store when staying at Wyndam Bonnet Creek?

We ended up using the Goodings near DTD last year and it was terrible (prices and selection were awful).

We would like a better option for our upcoming trip.

There is a Publix on the south end of I-drive and a Walmart Superstore on the 535. Both are approx. 8-10 minutes drive from WBC.

We prefer to go to Walmart. The prices are the best and we tend to buy very simple, easy items. Hot dogs, frozen pizza or lasagna, produce, sandwich fixings and breakfast items. We don't do any elaborate cooking while on vacay. A Walmart trip also works best for us as we usually want/need a few other assorted items that are not grocery related.

Publix is a really nice store and also much quieter than Walmart but much more expensive.

Several good choices in the area.

One PP mentioned WholeFoods. It's located at the corner of Turkey Lake Road and West Sand Lake Road - about 10 miles from the resort going toward Universal Studios; another PP mentioned the Walmart on SR535, about 5 miles from the resort and the Publix that's just down from that Walmart and on SR192 (abut 5 1/2 miles from the resort). There's also a Target just beyond that Publix, also on SR192, about 6 miles from the resort. A newer Walmart is located on Turkey Lake Road (9 1/2 miles) on the way to the WholeFoods store and a newer Target further west on SR192, (8 miles). The Winn Dixie on SR 435 (South Apopka/Vineland Road) in the Lake Buena Vista neighborhood is about 4 miles from the resort and a good option if you have, or decide to get, their frequent shopper discount card. Our favorite, though, is the Publix on Vineland Avenue near the Premium Outlets, it's about 6 miles from the resort.
