I have no suggestions for you but wish you well and hope for "your" cure.
I was diagnosed in 2004 and stopped work the entire time I was treated, from September to this September. I could never5 have worked during treatments, I was wiped out. I don't know how you did it.
I was eligable for disability after being out of work for 6 months so I was very poor during that time. Thank heavens I had charge cards because I used them to buy food. My dad died about 3 months before my diagnosis so I used my portion of his estate to pay off the bills when it came through.
I was not elible for SS benefits because they said cancer is not a permanent disability and they only give benefits for permanant disabilities.
Good luck, and look for the light at the end of the tunnel, it is there, I found it after a long hard walk. Peggie
