WWYD waitlist Question

So I have two waitlists for my Christmas vacation. One is December 20th to 25th then December 30th to Jan 2nd

I have now December 26th to 1st in one room booked piecemailed. Would you modify your waitlist for January 1st to 2nd?

I also have other dates booked but in a one bedroom and a different studio just as a placeholder.

Yeah, I’d definitely change the second waitlist to just that single day, Jan 1st. It certainly has a higher chance to fill than a 3 or 4 day one. And no need to book those overlapping nights again and tangle up the extra points.

Thank you! I was just so afraid of losing my spot on the list but I feel the same way I think I will get that better than the other since I have most days already.

Since waitlists are all or nothing, your place on the list should be higher now because you only want one night….

When rooms come up, they match to the first request that matches exactly…so you’d need all those night to open….with just one, the chances are higher that you get the exact match

Thank you! I saved my first waitlist since that is all a 1br and different studios for 2 nights that I already have booked so far and can move hopefully at 7 mths to a different resort to split stay if need be and changed the 2nd one for the one night I need.
