The move after 13 years at the same address is finally complete. But of course only in the sense of getting our stuff from one place to another. Because of course, now we are living out of boxes and trying to get organized. I've been having sales and have made almost $500 (in a month). Still got a way to go. But need a break. I'm thinking of doing a quick 3 day WDW vacation or should I just tough it out and wait until my real time off in Dec and go for about 10 days. So, WWYD? :upsidedow

Can you go 3 days now and 7 days in December (equals your 10 days in Dec.)? Or, how about a one or two night getaway now--just to give yourself a break and refresh, and still keep your Dec. plans. You could go somewhere other than WDW, which is pricey, now, and save the big bucks for WDW---that's what I would probably do. After you get settled into your new house, you will need that Dec. trip.

Is there somewhere near home you could go for a relaxing 3 day weekend? Maybe a national park, a spa, a resort, a smaller theme park...

Very nice suggestions! I like the 3 now and 7 later to equal my 10 day dream. Also good idea to do the 3 now a bit closer to home. Got a few choices, being in Upstate NY. Could do Niagara Falls, or Jersey shore or my sister wants to go to Boston. We will definitely do one of those. Thank You.:goodvibes

Wait - The time will fly and I have always wanted to stay anywhere for that long. It seems the smaller vacations 3 days or even 7 days just fly by way too fast. Test your patience and it will be worth it when you check in and you have TEN Glorious vacation days ahead of you. :goodvibes

Totally agree with this one:thumbsup2!!!!

I hear you! We're planning a 'big' vacation in April with our boys but I *so* need a short trip NOW! LOL

So I vote for someplace closer to home now for just a few days if you can swing it. If you're like me you'll be so much more productive when you get back.

The Cape is beautiful and very, very quiet in September. You can get great deals. Not 'beach' weather...but you can get someplace with an indoor pool and enjoy all of the other things the Cape has to offer. I find it very relaxing up there.
