WWYD - Trying to decide about changing my MK day because of EMM

My current MK day is on one of the Tuesdays that now has a new Extra Magic Morning scheduled... To be perfectly honest, I am not feeling the extra magic! DH and I have an adults only trip planned, so we could easily buy the ticket to go to this event (and by easily - I mean more easily than if we brought our 3 kids with us...) however, we do not feel that it is worth $140 for 3 rides and breakfast.

We carefully planned Tuesday as our day to go to MK... now we are thinking about changing it to another day. But to do so means changing around all of our ADRs... We have BOG lunch and Ohana dinner scheduled on Tuesday - neither can be replaced on either Wednesday or Thursday. (We are leaning more on Thursday now as our MK day.)

Would you switch your days around to avoid the EMM and lose your ADRs or just go with it and lose your RD advantage???

Personally, I don't think much is going to be lost. I would stick with my plans since the ADRs can't be rescheduled.

I did not have ADRs or FP+ yet, so I switched my MK day to Monday. It wasn't really a hardship and I didn't think I needed two days at Animal Kingdom, so I had some wiggle room...so I wiggled :D

I really do not see them selling enough tickets to have any significant affect on crowds.

I'm in the same situation after planning Tuesday as my MK day! I had backup BOG ADR's for Thursday which I could switch into. However, I would not be able to replace my hard earned Anna&Elsa M&G FP (I love Frozen as you can see in my picture).

For now, I am sticking to my original plan for Tuesday and still planning to arrive early for "RD", but starting in Tomorrowland or Adventureland instead of Fantasyland.

Thanks for all of your replies. I think that we are going to stick with our MK day and try to figure out our FP's for the day as best we can - and start in Adventureland, which we never do! Hopefully, we will zig and others will zag and maybe it won't be that bad.
