Just want some opinions on this.

Our Maclaren Ralley Twin is broken. Even though my bil has mostly fixed it, we cannot get the final part needed to hold the wheel on. They won't send it to us and the closest service center is in Georgia (we are in Texas). Today we decided to just order another stroller since we leave in 7 days (yeah!) and have to have a stroller.

Tonight I checked the Maclaren site again since it's been down. Apparently there is a MAc authorized repair shop in Orlando!!! Hmmmm. I'm thinking we should bring the broken stroller with us and have it repaired while we are there. DH thinks I'm a bit nutty. But, it will cost us a fortune in shipping to send to Georgia.

So, what do I do?? Should I send back the stroller I just bought (shipped to me today) and take the Maclaren in hopes that they can fix it? We have a car so taking it in is not too much of a problem. I'm just worried that they will need a part they do not have and they won't be able to fix it right away. Then we would be without a stroller. We could take both.......but dh would NOT be happy about that!

WWYD??

If nothing else keep the one thats on its way bring the one you already have to be repaired and sell one when you are finished. But I would call to make sure plus see about how long it would take for them to fix it.

I would not count on them to be able to fix it "while you wait" & then that would mean at least one more trip to the repair center. No way would I want to do all that during my WDW vacation. (But then, we have never ventured off -property once we get there).

My vote...just bring the new one. Forget the old one. Too much stress.

Maybe you can just swing by the repair center & pick up the part you need to take back home (after calling them of course, to see if they have one).

My dh says the same thing! I'm going to call the repair shop and see what they say.

I wouldn't mess w/ the broken one! It's not going to be an easy fix and they will probably have to order the part anyway. Not worth the hassle in my opinion! Just take the new one and enjoy your WDW trip!
