WWYD? School Dress code update #63

Yes gym starts in K.. my son also went to the same school last year for prek which is all day and the handbook states that yes they will give out detention to FOUR yr olds for inproper clothes... this is all new to me.. the dress code started this year. I wanted to go to the school board meeting last night but wasn't able he had to work I guess I could have gone with all 4 kids in tow.. but I am not that insane..

That makes NO sense to me, it is not as though a FOUR YEAR OLD has any say over the clothes that Mom buys...and certainly (unlike the middle school/high school kids) I doubt they change after they leave home (Ahem, I know that some OTHER kids used to do that in high school )

Just went and looked on the WalMart website and under the boys sections, shorts, there are ZERO pairs out of 72 options for on-line purchase that don't have pockets.

If you click on the picture of the shorts, then zoom in and scroll all the way to the bottom and far right you will find the logo. Please, tell me how that logo at all reaches out and smacks you in the face as being there. You have to REALLY LOOK to find it.

Yep those are them but in blue of course So he's home with his illegal clothes on and no detention.. so basically I lost sleep over nothing
