Hi everyone!

Okay I need some advice. I am a person who really appreciates others opinions - and when it comes to Disney my husband isn't the most helpful at times.

A little background, maybe a lot of background. :)

We are going in July :scared1: for my best friend's wedding. We are going for 10 days! :woohoo: Now at first we were going to stay in a moderate hotel, but then decided we'd rather save money and stay value. My husband's finishing his pharmacy degree and we're trying to save up for some other purchases in our future - house, car, etc. and since we aren't in the hotel room a lot we don't care. It's also likely the last trip we will probably stay in a value. We've stayed in Values before and don't mind them. After all these decisions we decided to stay at ASMovies as it's the only value we haven't stayed at. We went ahead and booked a room only reservation thinking about purchasing APs (we had them last year) since we are planning a trip in June 2013 for husbands graduation. There were no promotions at this time and it helped push us to this decision.

Now there is the room/ticket package promotion for our dates. We are pretty sure we are going to take advantage of this promotion. Yes it won't help us in June 2013, but that doesn't matter in the long run... Now taking advantage of this offer means switching resorts. We'd either have to stay at AS Sports or POP. We've stayed at both and enjoyed both. We stayed a week at Sports, but only 2 days at POP (a few nights of our honeymoon before we flew out to Hawaii)... I've asked DH's opinion and he has NONE... and as I said I like opinions. I am not a huge sports fan (DH is), but don't mind it. So the theme doesn't necessarily make or break anything for us...

Now that I've overloaded you with information I need some opinions or thoughts. If you were me and you had to choose, what would you do?

Thank you all again. DH is a great support for me, but sometimes not when it comes to all things Disney. That's why I need my disboards! haha. ;)

I've stayed at both and liked them both! I liked the fact that Pop only has one bust stop to deal with - doesn't share with anyone else.

That being said, I'd go with whichever one was most recently refurbished.

I'm not a huge fan of the values personally. With that said I have prefered POP over Sports. It has it's own bus while the All-stars typically share. It has a much larger food court (if I remember correctly).

You'll be able to see the new AoA being built -if you are into that kind of thing and walk over there to visit that resort to check it out and see if you would like staying there on a future trip.

There will be some kind of an AP room only discount for July, so I would not give up on that.
