WWYD? Onsite/ offsite stay

Dh and I are planning a long weekend April 29-May 3, flying down Sat night and leaving very late Wed night . I need to use one night of dvc points and we will stay offsite the other 3 nights. On our dvc stay we will stay put and enjoy the resort for that 1 night/ 2 days. We may actually stay in Clearwater for our off site days. I'm just not sure how to break this stay up. Any advice? I'm hoping to get a good deal at Swan or Dolphin one nigbt and book a dvc resort the next or vice versa. Then probably 2 nights in Clearwater.

Most DISers recommend your "upgraded" stay to be at the end of your trip, so mod to deluxe, not deluxe down to mod, for example. So if it was me, I'd say two night in clearwater first, then swan or dolphin, then dvc. Good, better, best. JMO!

Except, I might say Clearwater, DVC, Swan/Dolphin as my good, better best order. (unless you are staying DVC in the GFV / POLY / BLT)

LOL! I don't cook on vacation, I don't even want to see a kitchen(ette) in my room!
