WWYD? Narcoossee's or Flying Fish

Opinions wanted on Flying Fish vs. Narcoossee's.

Food? Service? Who wins?

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rank FF at about a 9 and Narcoosees at a 4. The menu is more sophisticated, the food is better. The only thing Narcoosees has as an advantage is the view on the lagoon.

In my opinion it's Narcoossee's and it's not even close.

The filet at Narcoossee's was the single best meal I have ever had at WDW and it's now a restaurant that we won't skip on any visit.

Conversely, we chose Flying Fish for our first meal during our honeymoon and it seemed like a glorified Red Lobster (without a lobster dish at the time). I have no desire to return there despite it's close proximity to Jellyrolls (which we frequent at least once every trip).

Never been to Narcoossee's, but I am a big fan of FF. Been there many times and always had a good meal.

I had dinner at FF last week and thought the food was much better there then any meal I have had at Narcoosees.
Narcoosee's service always seems a bit hectic to me. The pace at FF was nice. The best advantage Narcoosees has is its views which makes it more kid friendly too.

Flying Fish was fantastic! The food, the service...all was great except the screaming baby that was behind us

Our waitress at Narcoosee's wasn't the best but the view, the food and the fact that it wasn't crowded made up for her. DSonIL still says it's the best surf and turf ever.

Flying Fish's food is fantastic, but with the exception of one visit, our service, both wait staff and hostesses, have been really bad, to the point of being rude!

I can't say that Narcoosee's isn't good since I've never been---but Flying Fish was GREAT the last time we were there. The potato wrapped snapper was fantastic! Staying at the BWV this year and planning to make another trip if we can swing it.

I am really not qualified to answer this since I have never been to FF. However we did dine at Narcoossees on 4-24-09 and had a wonderful fantastic meal. I went all out and had the whole steamed lobster.

And best of all....The whole steamed lobster. This bad boy was worth every $$ they charged for it. I will definately be back for another one.

Now that's what keeps pulling me toward Narcoossee's!

BUT Flying Fish's menu looks so interesting.

I hate being so indecisive!

Flying Fish is a more attractive restaurant, but that is the only thing it wins on in our experience. Food and service were far superior at Narcoossee's. All that said, this is a write in vote for bluezoo - definitely THE BEST seafood on property.

We were at Narcossee's last week and my family loved it! For appetizers we began with the crab cakes&slaw and the cheese platter. For our entrees DH and I both had the steak and lobster while DD had the whole lobster. Everything we ate was delicious! The beautiful view just adds to the wonderful meal!

We absolutely loved our meal at Narcoossee's. Atmosphere, wonderful, welcome greeting warm and friendly, sevice by Chevy, phenomenal. I ordered the surf and turf, but don't eat steak, I was able to substitute the scallops. I expected a few 3-4 scallops, nope I got a full portion 6-8, trust me the 3-4 would have been plenty..lol

I actually saw my mother's jaw drop and eyes flutter when they brought out YOAMD cheesecake. Personally, I am not a cheese cake fan, but this one even I loved. I have read many a post that this dessert is the reason some book at Narcoossee's.

We also booked so that we saw the Electric Water Parade pass by and later stepped out onto the deck to see Wishes.
