Just like it says, but more background. We are staying at AKL kadani. Some of our plans are set… 11/23 we are going to the meetup at universal until 2:30 am. Next day is currently a break day. Then Monday Jollywood nights until 1230 am and Tuesday is free too. We want to hit Tom Sawyer island and the river boat one last time so we want to add a day at MK we will buy either a one day MK military ticket for 140$ for Tuesday with lightning lane with a goal of making it in the park by 930ish. I know we won’t make rope drop with Hollywood nights the night before. Or we do the Christmas party at MK on the Sunday and head straight to Tom sawyers island as soon as we get in planning to Que up by 330pm at the latest to get in at 4…. I think the island will close by 5 likely that time of year.
Which scenario sounds better? we have done the Christmas party in the past I’ll list it out better
Option 1 tickets 850$ish
11/23 Saturday universal meetup ends 230am
11/24 MVMCP enter at 4 straight to Tom Sawyer island which is priority over river boat likely wouldn’t have time for both. Ends midnight
11/25 Jollywood nights until 1230am
11/26 rest at resort
Option 2 ticket and lightning lane total 720ish

11/26 day pass to MK with lightning lane. Park will close at 6pm. Realistically I think the earliest we would make it to the park is 930am. If we are out until 1-130 am the night before I can’t imagine I’d get my teens to rope drop… positive would be would have plenty of time at Tom sawyers for pictures and also to ride the river boat.
I’m torn, what would you do. Important to note we will have a wheel chair for our daughter she is recovering from a broken foot will be walking then but Disney level of walking will be a lot. She will be just over 3 months post break. Cast comes off second week of October. Wheel chair will be for the long hauls… from bus stop to lands and between areas of the park. We have never done thanksgiving week. If it were not for the closures we had no intention of going to MK this trip as we did all parks in April and Disney land in June this year already.
