While we were at Epcot on Sept. 15, we ordered one of the laser photo glass paperweight type things for my in-laws. It was supposed to arrive in 4-6 weeks (and was supposed to be a surprise). After not hearing anything from my in-laws, I finally called and asked if they'd received anything special from us (which they haven't). It's now been 8 weeks since we ordered. I just checked with Disney again and they're saying it's going to be at least another 3 weeks. I have no idea why it's taking so long, but I am NOT pleased.

Here's my dilemma--do you think I should dispute this charge with my credit card company (just to protect myself)? Part of me says it's Disney, don't worry about it (and I feel pretty confident it will show up eventually). The practical consumer part of me says it's common sense to dispute anything you've paid for but not received within your 60-day dispute time frame. The other thing I'm unsure of is that this charge was lumped in with all the other charges that were put back to our room. I don't want to dispute all the trip charges, just the charge for this one item. I'm not even sure if it's possible to do that. What would you do? Should I just stop worrying about it?

I've often had items shipped home or to an alternate address when I either couldn't or didn't want to bring them back myself. I've never had a problem but I do admit that it takes much longer than what they always predict. I'd not worry about it and just wait it out.

I would give it a few more days, then call again and ask to speak to a higher up. Waiting THIS long is really a little unacceptable, at least to me...

This happened to us last year. We bought a bunch of stuff at a store in MK and shipped home. After waiting the two weeks they said we called, they told us give it another two week because it could take up to 30 days. I was angry with this because the Cast memeber in the store said 7-10 business days. I called the number daily after my 30 days and after another week I demanded a manager. The CM told me that the manager won't be able to help me, I asked for one again and she hung up on me. I called back and had to explain everything again to another CM and she pulled up my order and said it was shipped 3 weeks ago, to an adress in GA, I live in Minnesota, no where close to GA. I asked to speak to the manager again and got one. After everything that was said and done, they do show that it was shipped to my address in GA not MN and so if most likely was in unclaimed freight somewhere and should be shipped back to disney. She said she would have them re-pack our order, and she would refund our shipping. However that refund took 38 days.
