One day of our trip we are doing TL and then we will go to HDDR (4pm show)--after we clean up at our resort. Right now, I have grabbed FPP+'s at HS. But I am rethinking this. WWYD? Note: No one in my family wants to do Disney Springs and we do have a park ticket to use.

TIA?

If you have a park ticket to use up, DHS sounds like a good plan. We usually go from RD to almost park close, and my favorite park days are the ones where we have a "take it easy" morning and afternoon and then get to the parks around dinnertime. You can also look to see which park has evening EMH that night. We aren't partial to EMH, but find that it's a good use of a ticket if we aren't going to be in the parks all day.

If, for some reason, you don't want to use a park ticket, look into resort activities. FW has a campfire and sing-along with Chip & Dale, and all of the resorts show a movie at night.

I would head back to the resort for an early night after a water park and HDDR. However, if you have a park ticket to burn it might be easiest to get to MK because you can take the boat from the Fort straight to MK.

Agree water parks can wipe you out ... if you do them right!

I'd likely be enjoying pitchers of beer at HDDR then letting my DDBD (Disney Designated Bus Driver) take me to my hotel.

I might enjoy a drink there and walk my chicken off before turning in for an early night to be ready to go next day.

If you have a day ticket to burn, a few rides can't hurt but since I would be full of chicken and beer I would factor that in to my picks.

We have two water park days planned for our upcoming trip. Both days we will be going to the water parks first thing in the morning and staying until 1 or 2 depending on when we want to leave. After changing and cleaning up, we plan to head to Magic Kingdom for one evening and then the other evening we plan to head to Animal Kingdom.

I would hang out and relax for a bit at FW and then ride the ferry over to MK if I really wanted to my park ticket. Actually have done this many times...

I agree with this. I would probably just go back to the resort and rest or hang out at FW. If you really want to do something, I would probably do MK because it is the closest to HDDR.

I have been to a water park twice, once when I was a teen and then when in my 30's on our departure day .Both times I was totally exhausted afterward. I fell asleep on the plane before it even took off.
I would go back to the resort or plan something relaxing.

Last trip we did the day at TL and had HDDR that night but the latest showing. After we cleaned up at the resort, we did a few hours at MK then took the boat over to FW. The boat was so convenient, I would suggest going there after the show. DHS seems harder to get to.

Thanks to everyone!

We were going to do HS because we planned to do two nights--one for F! and one for the fireworks. But, after reading everyones replies, I am going to rearrange and do FPP's at MK. You are right and it is the easiest park to get to. Also, we are staying at the Poly so if we are wiped, we can just go back to the resort or split up.

We are planning AK at night on our water park day. We have another day planned there. We will do one of the avatar rides, safari again and rivers lof light. We have a rest day planned the next morning so I'm not worried.

If it is Wednesday through Saturday, you could head over to Riverside and see YeeHa Bob's show in the lounge.
