Evidently I have big boned aka fat wrists. Every bracelet I've liked is just a smidge too short. :(
I wear 8” so I go for ones on Etsy that can be customized to size Or things like Alex and Ani which are adjustable . Kendra Scott also makes some that fit larger wrists

I have one pair of Cros. Never been worn. Probably won't ever be and I missed my Amazon return window. They do have cute little Minnies on them. I'm not sure what the little doohickeys are called.

I can derail my own thread....even though we've seen O a bunch, we are going to splurge on the VIP tickets! I guess we'll have to drink and eat a LOT of "free" champagne and hors d'oeurves. :D I remembered you were also an O fan.
Woo hoo! How fun!! Looks like this is going to be one fabulous Vega$ trip. :thumbsup2

And Yes! I am an O fan. Would go again in a heartbeat. Hands down the best Cirque show!

I think that if dressing up your outfits makes you feel good and confident, then go for it. IT is really for yourself, and how you feel effects everything else in your life. If you can find good, quality basics at an inexpensive price, then jazz yourself up with accessories, then it is the way to go.

I bought the CD (years ago) after my first time there. I'll have to ask Alexa now.
We did, too. We must have seen it right after it opened. It turned 25 a couple of weeks ago and I know it has been well over 20 years since our first show. I'm feeling old :D

I like an 8 inch bracelet as well. I can wear a 7 1/2, but it’s a little snug and I prefer the feeling of it settling to rest where my hand begins. I hate that most bracelets are 7 inches long though. :sad1: It’s the same with necklaces. An 18 inch feels too short, almost choker length. I prefer a 20-24 inch, or even a 30 inch, depending on what I am wearing it with. I have a basic black dress that I style casual or dressy with jewelry and other accessories, and I like a long necklace with it.

Go for it!

I'll share two rules I follow. First, flamboyant colors in expensive things only work if you have a ton of money because super funky shoes & purses are super memorable so you won't be able to use them often, they will be played out quickly. I once bought a gorgeous hot pink satin purse to go with a gorgeous black and white dress, the purse was only used twice so great if cheaper, not great if $$$. Second, it's hard to be stylish if you are limping so make sure your shoes are wearable not just pretty. Maybe wear them around your house on carpeting a few hours so you don't scuff them but can test them. There is nowhere to sit in vegas other than tables so maybe a pair of foldable portable flats tucked into your pretty purse might save you:)

I just got 2 pairs of $130 New Balance Fuel Cell that are outrageously comfortable for our trip to WDW and don't feel the slightest bit off about it, I matter & so do you. Enjoy!

I have that problem with anklets, even as a kid they never fit me. My parents had one custom sized for me since they were all the rage when I was a teen.

I think price and brands doesn’t matter so much as if you like and it makes you feel good wearing it. I get a lot of my clothes from Costco so I don’t have designer advice, but agree on the comfort of the shoes matters the most. Have fun in Vegas, I’ll get there some day.

Yep - :) She is kind enough to hold my wallet/phone in her fancy shmancyy handbag or purse that I bought her for anniversaries, birthdays, x-mas or just because. Seems like a fair exchange no?
Definitely, I’m not a purse person so sometimes I do the same and give my husband my lip gloss to hold and let him foot the bill.
