WWYD...FP+ for Wishes or MSEP?

We have one full day and one other evening in the MK. For our evening there, we are hoping for dinner at BOG and to see MSEP and Wishes. I don't mind using one of our FP+ for either MSEP or Wishes. Which do you think is a better use of FP+?

I know that both are difficult to get, but I'm wondering which I should try for. Does anyone think it is worthwhile to use FP+ for both?

Thanks!

I would do Wishes. It seems to be a very good spot to view from, and it's not hard to find a good spot for the parades, especially in Frontierland.

Everyone seems to forget to mention or discuss the THIRD major nighttime spectacular at MK.
"Celebrate the Magic" is now considered by many to be a more creative, unique and exciting presentation than either MSEP or Wishes.
It is an amazing show that is actually projected on the front facade of the castle.
It has generally become a must-see for most guests who have experienced it.

CtM can be enjoyed from the two Wishes FP+ viewing areas, as well as most places in the Hub or on the northern end of Main St.
CtM begins 15 minutes before Wishes.

What makes this more complex to see is that guests who choose a viewing spot outside the Hub to watch MSEP now have much more trouble trying to get back to (and find an available spot in) the Hub in time to see CtM.

If a guest chooses to watch MSEP deep in Frontierland, that guest will find it very hard to
get back to (or even INTO) the Hub in time to see CtM.

There's tons of spots to watch MSEP. Wishes FP area is fantastic.

I'd easily go Wishes

This is what I have been worried about. Last year, I had a great spot in Frontierland to watch MSEP, but the Hub was packed by the time we got down there for CtM and Wishes, and cast members kept us moving and we ended up in a spot where I really couldn't see. Wondering this time, if it would be possible to get a FP+ for Wishes, to watch the parade towards the very end of the parade route in Frontierland, and then walk through Adventureland and get to the Wishes FP+ by Crystal Palace in time.

I have a BOG dinner at 4:55, and I probably won't get out of there until 6:30. So, I'm not going to have a lot of time to be staking out a spot for the parade.

I'd estimate a less than 50% chance of getting a good spot in the Hub.
You can certainly try.

You will only have about 3-5 minutes to get there, BTW.
Deep in Frontierland, the parade will not reach its end until about 40+ minutes after if started on Main St.

So even if you have a FP+ for Wishes, you still need to get there early?

Depends on what you mean by "early."
You want to be in the viewing spot in time choose a comfortable position to see the show.

HOWEVER...
If the Hub is BUSY (and, on most nights at near-time for CtM to begin, it will be SUPER busy,)
you need to navigate through a sea of guests just to get to the FP+ area entrance.

Neither. I find them to be a waste of a Fastpass personally. You can see Wishes from so many places. We found a decent place at the very last minute last week (and didn't cut anyone off or anything to see it.) MSEP has a long route, and the floats are so big that I can see them just fine if I am behind people. I guess if you want unobstructed pictures that might be a reason. I would rather use my three FP in the morning and have the opportunity to get fourth, fifth, etc. FPs.

We like the Wishes FP+ area for watching Celebrate the Magic and Wishes. Keep in mind that the entrances to the FP+ viewing areas are on the far sides of each area, not right on Main Street.

Loved loved loved our Wishes FP .. We had one for MSEP on another night but cancelled it..I took the advice on here about 2nd parades being less crowded. We walked up a sat along a wall right across from Liberty Tree Tavern 10 minutes before parade started...Barely anyone was over there no one came to sit in front of us and it was great! So happy I took the advice about the 2nd MSEP..

I'm hoping for a Wishes FP next year mostly because of Celebrate the Magic. I always go to Frontierland for parades and do fine there.
