WWYD - Extend Free Vacation or Disney cruise?

Have a resort only day while at the Poly. Spend more time in the parks while staying at the less expensive resort.
ITA with this. On our very first trip, I wanted so badly to stay at the Poly, so we did two nights then moved to SOG. We didn't really experience the Poly at all because our first two days were so busy! I'm getting a redo one of these days!

I would also extend the Disney stay. Have you checked into renting DVC points, so you may be able to stay at Poly for a better price? Or at least stay in a deluxe resort? I haven't checked what resorts are open lately for December, and most may be booked up already, but it is worth checking into.

I did look into renting points, but am too much of a worrier to accept the risk lol. The lower prices are very attractive though!

I agree with the others who say add extra days to your WDW tickets, and save the $$ to save up for a longer cruise.
We took a 7 day cruise (not Disney) and that went super fast, I can't imagine a 3 day!

Option 1! Disney cruises are awesome, but expensive. Much much cheaper to extend at WDW!
