WWYD: Disney Springs or a park??

I've been to Disney a lot of times, so I don't feel the need to do everything, which greatly affects my touring style. On a normal day I like to get to the park at opening and then leave shortly after eating lunch. I really only feel the need to be in a park for a few hours.

So, I'm pro rest day. I would also consider exploring your resort and it amenities. Something else to consider would be going to the Boardwalk area or visit the hotels on the monorail loop.

Keep in mind a rest day doesn't mean you actually need to rest. It's more of a down day for us when you go to look for non-park things or even venture off property. It doesn't have to happen like that, if you suddenly want some fireworks, you go hit the parks and add on an extra day to your ticket and have an unplanned excursion.

I think this is when phase 3 of a disney visitor starts. You have that unplanned jump into a park where you don't care if get anything done, you just felt like being there at that moment.
