WWYD - Boardwalk vs. Beach Club?

We don't really need the points by a certain date, although I am 7 months pregnant and I'd love to get things set before the baby arrives. We will most likely book our first trip for next fall, but we shouldn't need these extra points for that trip. We are looking for an October UY. I still follow some resale sites, and in the past few weeks I've seen 3-4 BCV contracts with Oct. UYs. The problem is that since there is no waitlist, then Disney doesn't know that I'm looking and may not exercise ROFR on any of those contracts.

Yeah, I wonder why they don't waitlist for BCV.

I was under the impression they have a waitlist, but it's full, so they won't take any new names. But I've also heard of people getting direct points who are just persistent in checking in with their guide.

I just had an offer accepted on a BC Oct UY contract. I feel like I overpaid enough for it not to be taken in ROFR, but I guess you never know

If it's the same Oct UY BC one I was just negotiating on within the past week then I doubt you have to worry.

VGF has an unofficial waitlist, you just have to bug your guide until they find your points....

We like the decor/theme better and also that it's a bit closer to Epcot. We've never stayed in the villas, though.

The thing about location is BWV is walking distance to 2 parks - Epcot and DHS. It's a little further away from Epcot but still easily walkable.

For decor - not certain about the comparisons as we have always found them extremely similar both pre-refurb and post refurb. Just got back from BCV and it's as general hotel as anything now.
