I was looking for the thread on the WWOS tickets, but the search is disabled right now. Has anyone recently returned from using their WWOS tickets? We leave next Wednesday and just can't wait to hit the parks!

We went using WWOS tickets purchased from Anthony Travel the last week of May. Paid $187 for 5 day + 1 water park. No problems at all.

I was wondering the same thing.

Our tix don't list the date of the event or an expiration date. I remember some posts from the original thread saying some had them, some didn't.

Has anyone used any that didn't list an actual expiration date?

I can't answer your question, but I just ordered another ticket from the WWoS preferred tix number for my mom. Paid $173 for a 5-D PH with DQ/Water Parks. I wasn't asked if I was attending any event.

Just chiming in here to ask exactly what you are talking about? Are there PH tickets that you can get at a discount through Wide World of Sports or something?

Confused and intrigued!

Just back and my SIL used one with no problems. She did not have a date on hers.

Mine were ordered from the Disney sports number. They do have dates on them which are one week prior to the event and one week after the event. These tickets just worked out perfectly for us this time as we are in between our annual pass purchase time. For our trip in December, we will have our APs again.

We just used ours over memorial day week. I didn't have them sent ahead of time, I just picked them up at the Will Call window. The guy working there didn't know how to issue the tickets and had to make about 4 phone calls, then ended up issuing it with invalid dates (the dates he put on were 6/14/04 to 6/14/04). We didn't notice it until we took the tix over to the turnstiles to use them. When they didn't work, we looked closer at the back and saw the date problem. Guest services were able to fix it right away and gave us a group fast pass for our trouble. Even with that hassle / scare, the price was worth it.

Sounds like everyone has been fine using them. Our first park day is one week from today and we CAN"T wait!!

First off...thanks everyone for showing me this tip! Especially grammagail...you're the best!

After showing DH all of your posts and the WWoS online ordering info we decided to go ahead and order the tickets. We are having them shipped to us and they should be here by next Monday (we leave for Disney 6/27/04!). I am really excited that we found these and were able to save some money on the tickets! My DSIL is a castmember, but can only get us a 10% discount on the tickets....we were only going to get the 4 - D PH tickets and now we were able to afford the 4 - D PH+ ticket!

Thanks to all of you wonderful DISers for this valuable information!

For the next week, though, all I will be hearing from DH is "I hope this works out just right...I hope that they tickets does go for 1 week after!"

Doing a the happy saving money dance,
