The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Island’s of Adventure is still so busy that officials have now introduced a new queuing system.
Visitors are given a ticket with a time to return to Wizarding World, similar to the FastPass system at Disney World.
Also because some of the Wizarding World merchandise is either sold out or in short supply at the park Universal has added a Wizarding World of Harry Potter section to their online store. Merchandise can be bought from Dervish and Banges, Filch’s Emporium, Ollivanders and the Owl Post.
Click HERE for the online store.
I guess they are hoping that if people buy their stuff before they go that the queues will die down. But I don't think that buying a wand online will in any way compare to going into the actual store and picking it out yourself - especially for the big HP fans.

I keep hoping the lines will die down by October but I don't think its going to happen. I think we will be putting off going this year :sad1:

In a strange way, I'm kinda glad we're not going this year. Obviously, I couldn't stay away if we were in Orlando, but I don't do wall-to-wall crowds and hours of queuing.

We're unsure whether we'll go even in April!

We're going to keep an eye on here, and if the FJ line and crowds get acceptable (I won't wait above 90 mins for FJ) then we'll go.

I'm not willing to queue just to get into the area when we'll only be having one day at US/IOA.

I think you have nailed it Kenny. On some mornings the line for Ollivanders was longer than for the Forbidden Journey :scared1:

Good job im not a harry pottor fan:lmao:Saying that it does look magical and even if I dont do the rides would still like to have a look around the village and get my mom a barn owl

I hope the crowds have gone down a bit by September. We aren't going again anytime soon so I'm def going no matter what. I'll take a book to read in the queue!

I wouldn't buy anything online either.

We have done either IOA or Universal 4times in the last 2weeks and ridden FJ on all 4occasions. Well wortth the queuing, the first time was when the park opened and got on within 20mins, then went back at night about 6.30 and waited 30mins. The other couple of times we have stood in the queue and once it said 90mins and within 55 we had queued and ridden. The last time was a 60min wait and on and off within 45. We would not usually wait so long but you are constantly on the move and really just did it to test the times, sad I know. Last night it was reported on the news here that a break down had occurred and 132 people had to be rescued which took an hour and a half and They are looking into why at the moment so not sure if it will be working tomorrow. The queue for Ollivanders is so much longer and is the only thing we haven't done, upto 2hours plus.
