Help me put togther a list of things for my son to find at the Wizarding world. I know i can put on locate train station, sorting hat, Olivanders, ect. But I haven't been yet so some harder things would be good... But not to hard.
I'm sending him a Hogwarts acceptance letter, got the idea here, and I'm hoping to add some fun things. All your ideas are welcome!!! How fun!! Please include where the things actually are so I can find them. Thanks

Your best bet is to list all of the things in the shop windows of Hogsmeade, such as Quidditch snitch, Chocolate frog, Gilderoy Lockhart's book, and even maybe ask him to spot some house-elves which are silhouetted in the upper parts of the Three Broomsticks.

There is also a snowman facing Hogwarts Castle, and a Daily Prophet newspaper screen showing live video of Sirius Black.

You could also suggest he can find Buckbeak from Flight of the Hippogriff ride, and the Goblet of Fire from Dragon Challenge.

And if he visits the toilets in WWoHP, ask him to listen out for Moaning Myrtle. ;)

I love this idea, please keep them coming as I am going to use this as a way for my dd and dss to earn money to buy their wands....I may use it on my hubby too as he wants a wand to add to our collectibles

:confused:what? How did I not see this:confused:
We only discovered the alley behind Honeydukes during our last trip. It's a dead end. Definitely worth checking out all the windows. Look for the gummy worms.

OK this one might be a bit harder. Look for the book that moves itself from one shelf to another in Dumbledore's office in the queue for FJ. I say this may be hard because it doesn't happen very often and if you are pushed along the queue too fast you probably wont see it. To make it easier you could just ask him to find the red book (this is the one that moves - to a space in the books a couple of shelves down)

love this thread. Doing this. Went 2 yrs. ago. There is also a wandering group of singers with their frogs...
