Anyone know the point value for the Subway wraps? I looked on Subway's site and could only find the point values for the breads and the full-blown wraps (with all the meat and stuff included). Just wondering if the wraps are lower in points than the wheat bread (which I usually eat).

Dotti's site isn't updated with the new wraps.

Thanks!

I checked Subway site and found the following... This is nutritional info for Canadians (it's probably the same for the US)...

Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap 448 cal, 24 grams of fat, 11 grams of fibre

Turkey Bacon Melt Wrap 423 cal, 24 grams of fat, 12 grams of fibre

It's 10 points each but if you round the Chicken Bacon Ranch it could be 11 points.

I used this link for the nutritional info:
http://www.subway.com/applications/NutritionInfo/nutritionlist.aspx?CountryCode=CAN&ID=sandwich

and this link for an online calculator...
http://www.angelfire.com/co/mtrevin...S=331&FAT=9.2&FIBER=0&CALCPOINT=&ExactPoints=

HTH :p

Thanks for that info.

Did you see anything on the individual wraps themselves, not the fully-made sandwiches? I couldn't find that info on the site.

I was wondering if it was better to substitute a wrap for the wheat roll when I ordered the 7 under 6 sandwiches.

Thanks!

I found the wrap info in one of their press releases :p So for just the wrap itself ...

130 calories
2.5 grams fat (total)
0 grams saturated fat
500 mg sodium
16 g carbs
11 grams fibre
1 grams sugar
12 grams protein
5 grams net carbs

HTH :p

Wow! Thanks for sleuthing.

So that's 2 pts for the Atkins wrap vs. 4 pts for the 6" wheat roll.

That's good news!

YIKES!

500 mg of sodium just for the wrap. By the time you try to put something like TURKEY on it, you'll have had DEATH BY SODIUM! :)

We were talking about the wraps last night in WISH chat. You can find the info about the breads/wraps here The wrap is higher in sodium in some, but not all, of the bread choices. The wrap is clearly the lowest in calories. :D
