WW challenge, week 2 anyone interested?

I know that last week our challenge got split in two, some kept with the original challenge some went with Alex challenge. I hope everyone did well with whichever challenge you chose. I did great, I made last weeks challenge and I am still working toward Alex's challenge.

Now what about week 2. Last week many people were interested in adding on each week a new challenge. Are you still interested? I know I need these challenges for me, so I guess I will start the thread each week and hope it is something that might help others.

Last week's challenge. Stay within point range, and journal daily.

Now adding on, this week's challenge (by popular demand) WATER ! Drink 6 glasses of water each day. Remember from the week 1 book, it says that "you can also have 3 of your 6 glasses as juice , milk, decaffeinated bevarages, or any other beverage that doesn't contain alcohol. Just be sure to count the points."

I'm here! Though I do think I drink my water - i'll be game for actually measuring it this week and seeing if I'm on track like I think I am.

Interesting that 3 of the 6 glasses can be something other than water? That almost makes it too easy!

I thought we were suppossed to be drinking 8 glasses a day? I'm not sure why I had that in my head??:confused:
 
Ok For me I only count my actual water as water and anything else well that can just be a bonus!! Even with Going out of town I think I can do this!!!! I am game count me in!!
 
I'm not doing WW --- but could still use a water challeng if the group will let me join?!? I've been having a horrible time getting my water in. I will vow to drink at least 6 glasses of water daily (not counting other drinks -- this will be WATER FOR ME). The other zero cal drinks I have will be a bonus.

I don't want to sabatoge your challenge Vija -- but would you consider keeping the weekly ww challenge seperate and posting the challenges like 'water, vitamins, etc' seperate for EVERYONE to join in on?
 

I am in on this challenge, I didn't take the Alex challenge. I did stay within pts last week and I did journal everything each day. I am pretty sure that I am drinking enough water, but it will be interesting to journal that each day as well. Good luck to everyone.
 
Count me in!! I drink 3 water bottles a day (16.9 ounces each) before I allow myself anything else to drink, but I can always use some extra motivation!
 
Count me in! I usually drink my water during the week, but the weekends are tough! This week I will do it!

I believe that it is 6 8oz of water. I too am going to aim for all water, and then the rest is a plus. I wrote what WW says in it's official week 1 book. Some people can't drink any water, so at least this is a good start, but some of us can go for the whole 6 servings of just water. Whatever you choose, get ready to count in extra activity points as we run to the bathrooms! ;)

Ok, you know me...I'm just a little confused! :rolleyes: Is this just a water challenge, or IN ADDITION to the keeping a journal and staying within points??? :confused:

I'm in, if it's just the water challenge. I'm on my own modified plan of ww's, so I don't know anything about points.

disneyfan551, this challenge is added on to the other challenge. HOWEVER, please feel free to do the water challenge by itself. Jody joined us for the water challenge, and she is VERY successfully losing wt with a low charb lifestyle. So truly anyone can do this challenge, all are welcome!:D
 
I'm in this week and I am going full fledged - journaling, within points and water!

My boss still trying to figure out why I make so many pit stops (he is a real hovering sort and hangs around alot)!! But, I just keep drinking and disappearing, it is rather comical when he sees me coming out of the restroom all the time, I am sure he thinks I am dying from something!

I'm like Ohmom I have been drinking 64z of the h20 per day - no wonder I am floating!

I'm like you, Kamy. I have no problem drinking plenty of water during the week, but weekends are harder!

How's everyone doing with this weeks challenge?

I am floating!! Yesterday I drank 90 oz. of liquids, 60 oz. were water and the other 30 oz. was Crystal Lite. So far today I have had only 18 oz. of water and 38 oz. of Crystal Lite, but it is still early so water cooler watch out!!
 
I have done well with the water, I'm getting in at least 70 oz a day, most of the time more than that. The only other liquid that I drink is my morning coffee. I can't do without that.:D I am also getting a lot of exercise back and forth to the bathroom.:)
 
I am doing ok, but I could be better. I noticed that I was really thirsty today, so I guess I didn't drink enough yesterday.
 
Another day over and I reached my water goals no problem, but I did find last night when I was in bed that I was very thirsty, which suprised me. I made this discovery on my many trips to the bathroom, so I know I drank enough, it was strange.

I was shopping today and just knew I had to check out just where all the restrooms where located so I get have my route ready when nature called. Funny how I liked the stores that surrounded the important rooms today.

Am doing well too - but like others- up way too many times at night and it has turned colder here again, so I hate getting out from the warm covers - but the bladder always wins!!

1 more glass to go yet tonight - I am off to "down it"!!
