The 2-23-07 WSJ (1st page of the weekend section) has an article on how many upscale resorts are cracking down on the poolside chair saving practices of guests.
It is quite a long artcle, with many examples of diferent hotels policeis and examples of the problem.
In the last paragraph the writer relates an experience a quest recently had at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge pool area and how his family of four could find only one chair without a "saving" towel on it.
From the article it looks like the industry is starting to address the issue.
Hopefully Disney will follow suit.
