I would love to see Greece, seeing that I married a man from Greece and have been there many times. The culture is interesting, the food to die for and the ancient architecture amazing!

Disney expects the host country to pony up some dough, so don't look for Greece for a while.
Every continent is represented except SA. I think Brazil is the only one stable and friendly enough.

From what I heard on the backstage magic tour, the pavilion does not have to be sponsored by a country, it just has to be sponsored by someone. The only pavilion with a country as a sponsor is Morocco. All the rest are sponsored by companies. I don't know all of them, but Japan is sponsored by the largest department store in japan which is why the japan pavilion is basically a department store. The American pavilion is sponsored by disney.

Can anyone show me the map with what spaces are available for new countries? Just wondering. Also, my favorite countries for WS would be Greece, Australia (there's not Oceania there yet), Egypt, or maybe a Caribbean island.

What you saw was the Cantina refurb walls. The old Cantina outside Mexico was demolished and is being built much bigger and better! It will be open in the Fall.

There is another large construction wall up between France and Morocco

You know a Caribbean Island would be a blast. The music and dancing alone would be wonderful. Of course people would want pirates, maybe a picture taking spot with some....but I think the food and music would add a lot of spirit.

Living in the coal region of PA, I would love to see an Eastern European country. Mrs. T's Pierogies could sponser it. The masses need to be introduced to halushki, kielbasi and halupkis/blind pigeons. On the adult beverage front, Yuengling beer is already sold in the American pavilion, but hey, we could get some boilo action going on.

In all seriousness, I would love to see Egypt. Disney could go nuts with that! Greece, India and Australia would also be great choices. And a Caribbean country would be amazing. Jamaica could be a big draw - there could be a Cool Runnings bobsled ride

Oceania is not represented either.

I would love Australia, India, Russia, Greece or a south Asian country like Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines...

That used to be the case, not anymore. Norways isn't hosted by anyone right now.

Yes, Japan is sponsored by Mitsukoshi, and Morocco is sponsored by the King himself.

As for Turkey being "just like" Morocco....that's like people from that part of the world wondering why there's a Canada and America pavilion, aren't they just like each other?

Seriously, people should do *some* research before seeming ignorant.

I don't think comparing Turkey and Morocco is ignorant at all. They do have similarities. But I don't think the idea of WS is to be as diverse as possible anyway.

Personally I would like to see Brazil, Australia and New Zealand. Since a large portion of Disney's guest come from these unrepresented countries.

But I would say the most logical big change to come to Epcot is doing somthing with the Horizons pavillion.
