Has anyone ever encountered an 8 1/2 by 11 scrapbook that opens on the 8 1/2 inch side? Does this make sence? It would be a regular sized album but your page would be wider instead of long.

I have seen some layouts done this way on some of those scrapping sights, but am not sure what kind of book the scrapper is putting it in. I would hate to think that she is putting all her layouts in a regular 8 1/2 by 11 book and has to hold it side ways to look at it.
Are you ladies following me here, or am I not making sence?

they do make them - I have seen ads in scrapping mags, but I am not sure who makes them. go to any of the big online retailers and seach on 11x8.5

OK OK you guys found me out...how they got on a web site I will never know! :rotfl2: But back when I first started to scrap and was pregnant with DD #1 I decided that was exactly how the book should be! I took a normal scrapbook and did it that way...but then it gets better...DD really sucked out all of my brain cells...at times I would switch the book back!
So can you imagine this scrap book!?!? Also this was during the wacko sissor phase of my life (hides head in shame) and I cut up all the pictures! Needless to say I do not have the neg or doubles of these pictures....
Will I ever fix the book! Nope! It was me then....LOL! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :earseek:

well, sei makes landscape albums (if the lo is horizontal, it is called landscape, and if it is vertical, it is called portrait), and office max had ones from kodak/roseart (i got like 5 of them) but they clearanced them.

i have asked this question on many sites...i am formerly a 12x12 scrapper, but now i scrap 11x8.5, and an occasional 8.5x11...i do put them all in the same album...as do other people that i have asked...i just make sure that i put the vertical ones next to each other and the landscape ones next to each other...

i think it is neat to do a really long 2 page spread, or you can do it stacked....just another take on los.
