Wrong names on luggage tags!!!

Is it a problem if the names are off?? My daughter spells her name Ashleigh, they out Ashley. And my brother has Mike(his middle name) instead of James. ANd of course my TA is gone until the 23rd and we leave June 15. Help!!!!

Are these the DME tags? If so, it doesn't matter because the people that pick the luggage go by resort name and reservation number on the bar scan, they don't look at names.

Yes these are ME tags. But on a closer look I also see that they put the wrong flight numbers on them. I think they mixed up ours with the rest of my party which is flying from St. Louis. Should I fix it now, or when we check in at ME?? Everything was going way to smoothly with this trip!!!!!!!

Flight times and names for arrival DO NOT MATTER.

Is the resort name on the tag correct?? If so, then you are good.

All that happens is that when yellow tags come off the plane, they are separated, then scanned, then sent on their way. They don't care what plane they came off of or what name is on them.

Now when you do get to the DME desk, please confirm that they have your return flight numbers correct. That is the only thing that matters, because they do schedule your return bus based on your flight number.

Also, when you get your notice on your door, double check the flight numbers and your pickup time. If it is incorrect there, call the front desk and get it corrected.

Thanks clkelley!!! You have helped so much! I was hoping that there would be an easy fix!! As long as the bags get there and home, I'm good. Plus, since I did all the planning I won't have to listen to the griping
