Wrong lyrics.

Let me tell you people something.


I will never, you hear me never, get a queen lyric wrong.

I may however make up my own set of lyrics for other songs. But I have a photographic memory so If I look up lyrics, i remember them. Im usually the one to correct my friends. Or parents.

Does anybody remember that song from like 5 years ago called "Tipsy" and they sang "everybody in the club getting tipsy" well I thought they were saying "everybody in the club getting (slang word for womens' breasts)" I actually went around singing that too!!!

Yea that is what I thought after I was told the word for a woman's breast was wrong. Then I FINALLY figured out it was tipsy!

I mess up the words to all kinds of songs. The one that comes to mind is Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours".

Every single time he would sing 'I'm yours' I would add a 'today'. Like...

But I won't hesitate no more,
no more, it cannot wait
I'm yours.....today.

I couldn't get it out of my head that way, so I sing it like that and my friends hysterically laugh at me.

Anyway, if I don't know a part of a song, I'll usually just make something up that sounds right.

Lee Ann Womack's "I Found it In You" is one that I mess up all the time now. The first time I listened to it, I thought that the lyric said, "Some find it in a bible in their hand/That's what gets them through." What the lyric actually said was, "Some find it with a bottle in their hand/That's what gets them through." It's not very majour, but it really messes up the song in my opinion.
