Writing a Story (please help)

Just a quick question.

I'm writing an essay and you know when your cut off? How would you do that in a story

Like an example scentence

Tony said "My hair is so bl (gets cut of here) blah blah

How would you make it seem like you got cut off? Need some help thanks

well, I'm not trying to be rude, but make sure you use spell check!

You could do this one of many ways, i'd do it..

David was saying, "My hair is so bl...", but before he could finish Mary interupted with, "My hair is blacker!"

Something like that?

Oh, by the way- its STORY not store

opps, sorry I was in a rush. Didn't mean to make it look stupid. I am using word document so ya.

David was saying, "My hair is so bl...", but before he could finish Mary interupted with, "My hair is blacker!"

I would write it slightly differently...

David was saying, "My hair is so bla..."

However, before he could finish, Mary had interupted with, "My hair is blacker!"

I added the "a" to the "bl" to give a little clearer picture of what was being said and kept the tenses all the same. And I changed the "But" to "However" as it's just better grammar.
