No after reading 100 posts on this I have had enough of it.
I certainly wouldn't be a teacher for any amount of money, although DS's relationship with his teachers at 13 years old is amazing compared to when I was at school, they have each other on facebook/myspace, email contact after hours etc. They must not get enough of the kids 8:45-3:00

I think this thread has ran it's course and I'm sure the OP has had plenty of support and tips so before this deteriates into a heated debate on the pros and cons of taking kids away during term time I'll close it
