wrinkled clothes?

Have any of you used one of the travel clothes steamers? If so, how well do they work? How expensive of one do I need to get? How fast are they? Thanks for any info.

Haven't used one because every resort I have every stayed at (in the US) has an iron and ironing board.

Are you staying at a WDW resort? If so no need to pack extra if its not in the room just call housekeeping. If not hit the website or call to see if an iron and or board is available. Save your $$ and room in suitcase for souvineers!!!

I pack a bottle of the Downy wrinkle releaser in our suitcase. I spray the clothes the night before and you just kind of smooth them out and it works pretty good. But too, I hate to iron!

On our recent trip, I had some t-shirts that were a little wrinkled from being folded and in the suitcase. I turned the blowdryer on them for just a couple seconds and the creases vanished! Just make sure you use it on a safe fabric. We stayed at POR and there was an ironing board and iron in the room.

Clothes steamers ( no matter what size) are an absolute waste of money. I had one that was supposed to just steam wrinkles magically away in seconds.....NOT. Plus, I couldn't help but think the heat was bad on the material. You've been receiving sound advice about the ironing board/iron; another piece: don't pack items you have to iron! Knit tops with patterns are great because the wrinkles don't show. and most slacks now come with a bit of lycra in so they are stretchy and don't wrinkle as much. Roll your clothes in the suitcase rather than stack/fold and they won't wrinkle as much either.

Hang your clothes in the bathroom, turn the shower on to hot, and step out. Let the bathroom become a steam room to get out your wrinkles.

p.s. doesn't work on people, only clothes.
