Wrapping Up The Holidays

I am finished! But yes I hear the sounds of crinkling paper, closing doors with warnings not to open, and footsteps up and downstairs as they all look for the paper, boxes, and bows. It feels good to be ahead of the rest of the family.

As of about an hour ago, all wrapping was completed here.. (I took care of mine yesterday - DD and her DH did theirs tonight - and my DGD did hers last week..)

All that's left to do here tomorrow is for me to make deviled eggs; put the cookies on the fancy serving platters; and straighten up the living room..

Tomorrow night will be me, DD, her DH, my DGD, and my DD's IL's.. It will be eating/munching; playing a family game or two; and knowing my DGD, she'll whip up some kind of talent show or something to put on for us.. She'll sing, dance, do her stand-up comedian routines and whatever else she can think of.. It's going to be a great night and lots of fun! Can't wait!!

For some strange reason, I ended up doing everyone's wrapping for them. As of this afternoon, I was totally done but ended up having DD buy 2 more presents to cover the ones that never came by UPS as of today (just in case). I'm still trying to figure out how I got to do all the wrapping myself.
