This isn't really a craft thread, per se, but since most of you ladies enjoy scrapbooking and other craft things, maybe you'll be able to use this.

This evening, I bought 2 Rubbermaid Wrapping Paper Organizers at Walmart. It's a red canvas bag that holds 6 rolls of wrapping paper (up to 40" long) on one side, and the other side holds gift bags/tags/scissors/etc. It has two handles, and unzips to show all the goodies.

They were only $3 each (they are red with green trim, must be Christmas leftovers).

Somehow tonight I was on ebay and was looking for an over-the-door wrapping paper organizer for my non-Christmas items, and found the same organizers I bought today for $3 going for $15 with multiple bids!

So for all of you organizers out there, check your WalMart and see if you can become even more organized. They also had Rubbermaid canvas wreath bags that match the organizers.

Sorry if this is on the wrong board. But one can NEVER be too organized!

I would graciously accept any help in the organization department. You should see my house! I need all the help I can get! LOL!!!
My favorite tip so far is an over the door canvas shoe organizer. I have one in the front hall closet for hats, gloves, scarves, etc. One in my room for purses, belts, dress scarves.... And one in the boys room for toys and stuffed animals. They are a dream!

Joann's had some for 75% off at my store today -- i bought two gift box organizers for 2.50 each

the hanging ones were maybe 3.50

ok dumb question
so do they hold the largest rolls?

I bought a big plastic one and the lip wouldn't fit on it with the big rolls in it - grrrrr
thanks for the heads up - worth a look see when i get in there

I was worried about that too, but it did hold the 40" rolls. All but two of my rolls are shorter than that (not sure the dimensions). But I had two rolls from Target that were extra long, and they fit. Hope this helps.

I may have to make a run over there tonight. I have the rubber maid ones but they dont' hold the really long paper so the lid just sits on it...
DOnt' think I would like the over the door one...(might be better if the closet was jammed full of stuff...but my paper would get bent! LOL!)
