WPC The Dining Room (Upstairs) Opinions?

More quiet, has a better "view". You can see the menu difference--a bit less in the way of meatloaf, etc.
We ate there twice--I wasn't alll that impressed. I believe since then Puck "sold out" to a company (Landry's??) so no telling if that made any difference.

Levy, not Landry. They also run Portobello and Fulton's.

Totally subjective, I know, but... Do you feel as if you "got your monies worth"?

Was the experience (food, service & atmosphere) worth what you paid or were you disappointed when you walked out the door?

How would you rate it compared to other restaurants of the same price point?

We really want to continue to give new places a try (well, new to us) but I have an issue with perceived value. IMO there's nothing worse than dropping a couple hundred dollars on dinner (2 teenage boys) and feeling "eh :confused3" about it. On the other hand, have no problem splurging if we can walk out the door saying "Wow, that was great".

Not "disappointed" exactly, but we'll probably not go back. I think most of the Signature restaurants are better. The atmosphere is certainly better than downstairs, but the food didn't knock us off our feet and service was fine--but nothing special.
I will say that the manager on duty that night came around to a few tables to inquire about the meal, etc. But he didn't visit us! And we had gotten drinks, appetizers, etc AND had been in the restaurant almost as the first customers of the evening. Very irritating....

So I guess what I'm saying is that it isn't worth a special trip. For the $$, you can do better elsewhere.

Thanks! That helps alot. We'll probably still try it at some point but there are others that will end up trying first.
