The answer is probably no, but it doesnt hurt to ask. Does anyone know if the ceremony time can be at all flexible?? We are doing 7:30pm and then going to illumination's and have been told that we will have to see each other before or we can't take any pictures after the ceremony if we want to make it to the fireworks. We do not want to see each other before and seeing the fireworks that we are paying a viewing fee for is a must. But there are also so many pictures I want around the WP with DF as well. We are also having the carriage and I am not sure how that is working, do we leave the WP and then come back??

The answer sadly is no, the times aren't flexible - these set times allow them to get the max number of weddings in per day...

I second Lurkyloo's idea - when we were planning an illuminations reception, we were going to do 5pm, then pictures at the GF and WP while our guests were shuttled over to EPCOT. We were going to do cocktail hour and dinner before Illuminations, then cake cutting and dancing after. I think we were going to be there from 7 to 11 and could have had the option to add another hour.

yes, but our cocktail hour has to run from 8:30-9:30 in order to see illuminations so basically from 5:45 after the ceremony would be over, our guests would have to wait around until 8:30 for cocktail hour.

Well just our cocktail hour is in Italy and then our reception is at the AAR at 9:30, so we will be there until 1:30am. It's just with the 7:30 reception only gives us one hour for ceremony, pictures, and travel time before the cocktail party starts. I just don't see how it is all possible. We don't have to go the entire time, but I have to have fireworks pictures since we are not doing a dessert party.

i just wish they would let me go a half an hour earlier. If it starts at 7:30 is that when I walk down the isle or is that when my entire bridal party starts? We have 16 people.

My Wedding Was At 730 In The Pavillion, Then We Had The Reception At Illuminations In Italy, We Had Plenty Of Time For Family Picts, And Picts W/just The 2 Of Us, And Our Wedding Party. We Also Did The "flower Shower" Staged Exit. And Had Time!

As For The Carriage After The Ceremony And Exit (if You Do One) You Go Out And Go 1 Trip Around Parking Lot

7:30 is when the bridal party starts...
at 7 your guests are being seated...

The only way i can see them letting you go early is if someone didnt book the previous time slot....but there would be no way of knowing until the last min...and by then you'd need all your bus times already worked out...

No more than 30 minutes, and usually 15-20 minutes.

I know you don't want to see each other before the wedding, but if having time for pix together ends up being more important, you might want to consider doing a "first look" where your photographer captures the first time you two see each other and then you take most of your photos together before the ceremony.
