I was in the Magic Kingdom for the 3:00 parade (which was cancelled, btw) and there was some lightening & loud thunder, but not ever a downpour.

it rained in mk plenty Wednesday. we got stuck at carousel of progress for a while. In fact we got stuck in biblical rain every day this week. If it was just me I wouldn't mind but tons of rain and lightning were a challenge with a toddler. Good thing this was just a bonus trip. Now that we have experienced summer crowds and weather we will gladly go back to our off season trips!

I was there this time last year, and the AC unit of our building at Pop got hit! No AC for 24 hours was horrid!

We were in Epcot the day you posted this, Kevin! Stuck in the Tinkerbell indoor meet and greet area. The automatic doors kept opening because people were standing too close to them. There were some lightning strikes like I have never seen or heard (And I'm from the midwest!!). Crazy storm!!!


Hope all of your technology survived! We did... and the herd was absolutely thinned after this round of weather. We had low crowds the rest of the evening!
