Wow!

I can hardly believe what I'm seeing. I've begun losing weight. For so long when I'd step on my scale I'd be holding steady and finally I'm am seeing a change...for the better.

I've been walking since the beginning of March but haven't seen any indication that it was helping with the weightloss, but I was feeling better and the guilt sets in when I don't find time or energy to go for at least 30 minutes a day.

Then I tried adding a 10 minute exercise routine to my morning, at least 3 times a week. Still no impact on the weightloss, but I was enjoying it until this week when the heat and humidity shot up. I haven't done any walking since last weekend and I didn't exercise but this past week was the first full week I attempted to stick to a 1500 calorie diet as prescribed on kraftfoods.com.

Let me tell ya - it's working! I've lost 2.5 pounds in about 7 days. I was down a pound over the previous week when I weighed in last Saturday, so I've now lost 3.5 pounds since the beginning of June.

Monday I will begin the "Walking Works" program sponsored by Blue Cross through work and continue with the diet.

Congratulations! I'm kindof in the same boat as you! I was exercising since March with no results...starting keeping track of food, cutting out sweets, etc, last Tues, and lost 2.5 lbs this week too! now just to keep up with it! Good luck! I also bought some pilates dvds I've been doing, espeically the abs one, which hopefully will help.
 
Congrats on the loss. My son brought home a certificate from school about his reading (over grade level) and it said: "You have found the keys to success." I like that and that goes for you too - "You have found the keys to success."
