Probably shouldn't share this....but what the heck.

Ok, so I listened to the podcast show yesterday (loved it!) and I thought it was so cool hearing about all the packages the crew got. Then I went about my day.

Fast forward to this morning....

No email show up yet, so I decide to listen to the Discussion show again.

They get to the part about the packages and they start talking about the one with the Stress Berries and I think Pete says, "Yea, it looks like a real blackberry." .... and OKAY, I can't believe that I'm going to admit here that I really thought he meant a literal piece of FRUIT, like blackberries you pick in a field! I actually pictured a dark round bumpy ball yesterday and secretly thought it was sort of an odd thing to send but you know, it's the thought that counts so I'm listening again this morning and I hear Julie say "I thought it was an actual phone." and had one of those epiphany moments and I'm like Oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhh a BLACKBERRY, as in the electronic gadget thingy. .... again, I am such a dork.

i thought they sent stress ball blackberries? Arent blackberries a bit small to be stress ball sized? Do they smell like blackberries?

I was picturing a fruit shaped stress ball also until Julie mentioned phone.

I have a Blackberry for work. There are days I want to toss it out the car window while doing 70 on the Turnpike. Squeezing it is too kind.

Crackberries are soooo ingrained in my life (DH works at the company that makes these things) that I forget that normal people can exist in a world without thumb cramps and "phantom vibrations". I have pictures of DH working with the cursed thing at Epcot.

DD6 has one of these stressberry things - they look sooo realistic that she has had other kids look at it and beg their parents for one. (thinking it is real)

Thank you for reminding me that not EVERYONE in the world has or needs to have these darn things 24/7.

That being said...DH just got me wired up with one

Now that is funny. I admit I am technically challanged but I got it when Julie said it looked like a phone before she said that I was was like why would someone send a fake blackberry.

I'm so stupid that I thought that someone sent what looked like a phone box but it was filled with little squeezable pieces of fake fruit. If you didn't say something, I would never have realized it was a stress version of the hand held thingy.

BTW, I was with Pete, Corey and the gang earlier this month. Everyone was checking their ipods/blackberries, etc. I just have a sad low tech phone so I whipped out my snazzy new purple compact.
