Whenever we go ANYWHERE to stay in a hotel we always bring our own towels -- you know the ones you use at home for a shower? Most hotel ones are hard as a rock and can maybe cover a 2 month old

I love to step out of the shower and be able to wrap myself up!

I took a beach bag. I just laid it flat in my suitcase, but it was great to take to the waterparks. In it I put extra towels, money, water bottles, sunscreen, snacks, etc...
Also we just took towels from the hotel, but I took one great big lime green one. Great for finding your chairs amidst a sea of hundreds of white towels!

-Also took umbrellas and ponchos--needed them a few times!
-Lipchap with SPF in it!
-Disney guide books. I read them at night to prepare myself for the next day!

I love the body glide tip! I picked it up a couple of years ago on this board and it works like a charm. I have chubby thighs and after discovering Body Glide I no longer have problems with chafing.

Found these products in the drug store this afternoon while shopping for new toothbrushes ... can't have stinky breath for school I think they are a good alternative to Body Glide if you can't find it.

Both Bandaid and Elastic Plast have one.

One is called COMPEED ANTI - BLISTER stick, it is in the foot care section of Bandaid, right beside those funky blister bandaids for AFTER the fact.

The other is called ?? i dunno but it is with the "other" bandage company.

Also just noticed on line that SPORTSMART carries Bady Glide up here in Canada. So for those of us who have what my family calls "thunder thighs" a blessing in disquise!

I always bring Ginger gum. It is sold near the Dramamine, etc. and it helps with motion sickness from the rides without causing any drowsiness or other side effects. I just chew a couple of pieces before, during or after the ride depending on how I feel at the time. Come to think of it, this time I'll bring two packs just in case!

small pen-light style flashlights for kids, sometimes waiting inside some of the dark attractions can be frightening for little ones.

Just wanted to say thanks for this tip! I got these for our trip last year (after reading your tip in this thread) & when we were on ToT, the ride stopped - total darkness. DD5 turned on her little flashlight and let me tell you that was one happy elevator after that!! So thank you very much!

LOL! I have most of that PLUS neosporin, bandaids, mole skin, eye glass repair kit, cough drops, sleep aid, ear plugs and anti itch cream!

I pack a few small shovels and pails for the beach at the hotel. I also throw a stack of Disney themed small dixie cups for my kids for when they brush their teeth (terrified of heavy glass breaking on floor or vanity top).
