They had a half off sale on 8x10s over the weekend. I bought 9 metallics (at $1.24 a print!) They really came out great. I Even the regular E-Surface is waaay better than anything else I've seen. And the way they packaged the prints for shipping! Heck, those prints would survive anything with that kind of careful attention to packaging.
Printing sure does show the flaws in my technique though. My next purchase will definitely be a tripod.

I agree. I love MPix! They are the only lab I use to order for my clients. I have always had great results with them. I absolutely love the pearlized paper for their calendars. And the linen paper in the books turned out beautiful.

I got prints from the same sale. Haven't received them yet but I'm glad you like them. I got one metallic (along with a bunch of matte) since I wasn't sure how it would look or if I'd like it and now you're making me wish I ordered more.

I got some metallic prints from Mpix today too! I love them for my sports photography. The colors are amazing and really pop. I'll plug their true black and white paper too. Can't think of any thing I like better. The contrast is perfect.

...and the packaging!!! I had something framed for the first time and it was like breaking into the Fort Knox of Bubble Wrap to get them out.

i'm kicking myself that i missed the sale( opened the email to late) cause i am considering selling stuff locally and need some made up...but i love mpix. i used to have my stuff on zenfolio who uses them and i love the way they turn out and the nuclear war proof packaging is the best yet. the place i use now is more art prints( and like 3 xs the price) but i figure i can still use mpix or adorama( pretty close in quality and a couple more paper choices but not quite as good packaging) for my own stuff.

I just received my latest MPix order. I ordered pictures for two senior shoots and I did the photography for my daughter's Daisy/Girl Scout's Daddy/Daughter dance. Have any of you ordered the boutique packaging with your pictures? I have done it several times and feel it's very worth the money.

I also wanted to say I LOVE, LOVE LOVE their statuettes!! A few months ago, I ordered one of my daughter in her cheerleading outfit and one of my son in his marching band uniform - I also ordred one for my cousin in his marching band uniform. They are great and I have received alot of compliments on them. Their gallery wrapped prints are amazing, too!

I've got a few pics on exhibition right now and went with Mpix for the pictures. Was very pleased with the results, especially the metallic.
