Wow they are booked!

Just called to see if I could a earlier ADR for dinner at Chef Mickeys on Sunday and they are booked except at 9 for a table of 3! 9/23 no ADR's avaliable. I guess I will have to stick to my 8pm rsvp.

I agree, but even in mid-October things are booked. I've been trying to rearrange some of my ADRs for our Oct. 14-27 trip and was surprised that I could not get Coral Reef, party of 2 for dinner for any night our first week. I did manage a late lunch. LeCellier, of course, is completely booked. I booked my ADRs months ago and am so glad I did. Surprisingly this is after the free DDP, and after Colombus Day weekend/week, so folks should be keeping this in mind. I did, however, manage to get a table for 6 at the 50s Prime Time for dinner the second week of our trip and had a 4:50 and 6:30 to choose from and took the 6:30--one table.

Our family learned our lesson on the last trip. We didn't book CM, and the kids kept asking when we were going! DH and I decided to give it a break that trip. We couldn't get in at all during our vacation. Le Cellier has been like that for a while now. A few years ago we were waiting for our table outiside since it was such a nice night, and as people walkd up to the podium, the CM informed guests the place was sold out for the night. This was about 5pm.

Now I make my ADRs as soon as I can. It's a pain 6 months out, but better safe than sorry.

I just called to move some of mine around for Feb. and already a lot of the times I wanted are gone. You can bet I didn't touch my 5:30 for le'cellier that thing is fine all the way around. lol

Same here. We are there 10/1 - 10/6 and were trying to shift a few things and add a meal or two and they are just booked solid. Could not get Chef Mickey's for any morning and was only able to find one morning that had 1 7:40am O'Hana's. So, we grabbed it. We are just happy that we have ressies for the rest of our stay!

You know what though, when it comes to CM's it is REAL tough to reschedule anytime of the year when you call even within a few weeks before. I'm surprised they even had that table of 3.

I tried to get Garden Grille for next Friday night and that was totally booked, not surprised though being that it's the opening night of F&W (but then again, don't they have all of those food booths so you can eat dinner all around the 'world'??? )

For the more popular character meals that's a big "MUST" months in advance (as soon as you know when you're going almost unless it's too far out from booking).
