I entered my info on photopass and viewed my pics. The cost of the CD is $149.95!!!! The past 3 previous trips I have been in a group. I am now rethinking ordering one.

Did the prices jump?

It used to be you could pre-buy for $99 and anyone could do it. They now have limited the reduced price to guest that are staying on-site (and its now $119). If you stayed on-site you should have gotten an email with the offer. Mine came while I was on vacation there.

I wish there were still groups available here. I just entered in my photopass card from a trip that ended yesterday .. boo hoo. I only had about 50 taken and only want about 10 of them. I will not may that amount of money for them, though.

don't forget, there's always the calendar option. I believe....haven't checked this lately....that you can get as many as two pictures per page and the cost is right around $25.

I recieved an offer to purchase the CD for $110 after we got home. It was in an email from Disney Destinations and I think it was 3 or 4 days after we got back.

can someone answer me this question please...there is no longer an advantage to prepaying the photo cd?? i couldn't find a pre=pay option, i'm NOT staying on property and we are going early february!

i did a search and couldnt find the answer to my question.

Prepaid Photopass cd discounts are only offered to guests that book a package to stay onsite, as far as I knew. Now that we are off to DL (10 days) I was told you only get that offer if you book online and it is emailed to you 10 days prior to arrival and expires the day you arrive in the resorts! I never asked about the price increase though, I'm going to check that out!

DVC members can get the discounted Photopass code emailed or by phone in order to purchase the CD as well.

Disney managed to talk people into paying hundreds of dollars for bricks and little plaques so tiny you need a magnifying glass to see them, why would it surprise you that they would ask that much for a cd that costs them pennies to make?

I used my email that made it $99 and I am a friend of photopass on facebook and they sent out coupon codes for 25% off so it was only $75.00!!! I think they are runnign a 25% off discount right now too, for the new year!

The CD costs more than my new camera! I'll just take my own photos! If I want one of both of us, I'll ask a CM to take one.

I made the photopass photobook, and I think it was like $70 and I really love it! Way cheaper than the CD, and it has all of my photos in it!

You can use the photopass facebook discount and get 25% off....even if you are non DW guest.

I stayed at the Contemp and NEVER got that discount email when I got back...BOO.... I have even checked my spam everyday. My photos expire next friday...BOO

when I was at diz a year ago I asked them what was the largest cd they had done of pictures. they replied over 3000! thats a lot of pictures! had to of been a diz board group buy.

I guess we are lucky our photopass pics didn't turn out good! We only ended up getting two and it was on the MVMCP night where you get a discount photopass.

on another board someone pointed out that there was a way to get the discount code, but it was easy to miss. If you sign up for a trip itenerary through disney's website, they will email you the code, but it was way at the bottom of an email they sent and it was easy to miss. Just a thought!
